Li Yi (李遺, Lǐ Yí) was a general of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period. He was the son of Li Hui (李恢), a prominent general and official who served under Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang.
Family Background
Li Yi’s father Li Hui was a key figure in Shu Han’s administration of the southern regions (Nanzhong). He played an important role in Zhuge Liang’s Southern Campaign and the pacification of the local tribes.
Marriage
Li Yi married Guan Yinping, the daughter of the famous general Guan Yu. This marriage connected two prominent Shu Han families and strengthened the political bonds within the Shu Han elite.
Service
Li Yi served as a general in Shu Han, following in his father’s footsteps. He was involved in the administration and military affairs of the southern regions, continuing his family’s legacy of service to Shu Han.
