Henei Commandery (河內郡) was a commandery of Sili north of the Yellow River, in what is now northern Henan and southern Shanxi. Its seat was at Pinggao (平皋) or Wen (溫). The Sima family were from Henei: Sima Fang, Sima Yi, Sima Fu, Sima Zhou, Sima Wang, Sima Gan, Sima Liang, Sima Rong, Sima Jing, Sima Jun and Lady Zhang (Sima) were from Henei Commandery. Han Hao, who served Cao Cao, was also from Henei.
