Liu Xuan (simplified: 劉璿, traditional: 劉璿, pinyin: Liú Xuán) was Liu Shan’s Crown Prince and son of Lady Wang (王貴人). After Shu surrendered to Deng Ai in 263, Liu Shan and the court were moved north; Jiang Wei surrendered to Zhong Hui and later conspired with him to restore Shu. In 264 Zhong Hui declared a rebellion against the Wei regent Sima Zhao. Mutinous soldiers attacked the palace; in the fighting Jiang Wei, Zhong Hui, and several hundred others were killed, along with Liu Xuan (Crown Prince of former Shu), Zhang Yi, and other Shu officials. Liu Xuan’s death is recorded in the annals of the Jin dynasty. Fei Yi’s daughter had married Liu Xuan as Crown Princess.
