Liu Yong (simplified: 劉永, traditional: 劉永, pinyin: Liú Yǒng), courtesy name Gongshou (公壽), was Liu Bei’s son. When Liu Shan became emperor (223), Liu Yong was enfeoffed as Prince of Lu (魯王). He was sent to the eastern border (Ba Commandery or similar) to guard the approach from Wu. Huang Hao held power in the palace and slandered Liu Yong to Liu Shan; Liu Yong was kept away from court for more than ten years and could not see the emperor. After Shu’s fall (263) he was taken to Luoyang with other Shu nobles and enfeoffed as a marquis (e.g. Marquis of Xiangfeng 鄉侯). His exact death date is not recorded.
