Chen Deng (simplified: 陈登, traditional: 陳登, pinyin: Chén Dēng), courtesy name Yuanlong (元龙), was an administrator and general who served Tao Qian and later Cao Cao. He was the son of Chen Gui (陈珪). He held Guangling and the lower Huai region against Sun Ce and Sun Quan. Cao Cao valued him highly; Chen Deng died young (reportedly from a parasitic infection) and Cao Cao is said to have regretted his loss. Chen Jiao was a relative (same clan).
