Liu Xiang (simplified: 劉祥, traditional: 劉祥, pinyin: Liú Xiáng) was Administrator of Jiangxia (江夏太守) and General Who Subdues Bandits (盪寇將軍). He had good relations with Sun Jian, which drew resentment from officials and people in Nanyang. They raised an army against him, defeated him, and he fled. His son Liu Ba became a prominent official under Liu Bei, serving as Minister of the Interior and helping draft the Shu Code.
