Mei County (郿縣) was a county in Youfufeng (右扶風, part of the Fufeng/capital region), Sili, in what is now Mei County, Shaanxi. Fa Zheng was born there. He left the north during the civil wars, joined Liu Bei in Yi Province, and advised him on the conquest of Yi and the Hanzhong Campaign.
