Sima Gan (simplified: 司馬幹, traditional: 司馬幹, pinyin: Sīmǎ Gàn), courtesy name Ziliang (子良), was Sima Yi’s fifth son. Under the Jin dynasty he was enfeoffed as Prince of Pingyuan (平原王). He held minor or ceremonial offices and did not play a leading role in the regencies or the founding of Jin. He lived into the late Western Jin period and died in 311, by which time the dynasty was in turmoil (Yongjia era).
