Sima Zhou (simplified: 司馬伷, traditional: 司馬伷, pinyin: Sīmǎ Zhòu), courtesy name Zida (子將), was Sima Yi’s fourth son (second of Lady Fu’s four sons). Under the Jin dynasty he was enfeoffed as Prince of Dongguan (266) and later Prince of Langye (琅邪王, 277). He held military and regional posts during the Wei–Jin transition. His grandson Sima Rui fled south after the fall of the north and founded the Eastern Jin dynasty (317). Sima Zhou died in 283 and was remembered as a capable prince whose line preserved the Sima house in the south.
