Chen (陳) was a kingdom and former commandery in Yu Province, in the central plains near the Huai. Its seat lay in what is now the Huaiyang area of Henan.
Under the Cao Wei state, Cao Zhi was enfeoffed as King of Chen (陳王). He died at Chen in 232 and was given the posthumous title Prince Si of Chen (陳思王). Chen was one of several kingdoms used for enfeoffment of the Cao house.
