Location
Dingtao (定陶) was a county in Jiyin Commandery, Yan Province, in what is now the Heze area of Shandong. Dong Zhao was born there. He served Cao Cao and Cao Pi as a senior adviser and famously drafted the documents by which Emperor Xian yielded the throne to Cao Pi, establishing the Wei dynasty.
