Juping County (鉅平) was a county in Taishan Commandery, Yan Province, in what is now the Tai’an area of Shandong. Yu Jin was born there. He served Cao Cao as a general and was captured at the Battle of Fancheng in 219 when floods overwhelmed his camp; he surrendered to Guan Yu and later died in Wei after his release.
