County in Chenliu Commandery, Yan Province; birthplace of Dian Wei.
Location
Jiwu County (己吾) was a county in Chenliu Commandery, Yan Province, in what is now the Ningling area of Henan. Dian Wei was born there. He served Cao Cao as a bodyguard and was killed at the Battle of Wancheng in 197 while holding the gate so Cao Cao could escape from Zhang Xiu’s surprise attack.
