Huang Xu (simplified: 黃敘, traditional: 黃敘, pinyin: Huáng Xù) was Huang Zhong’s son. The Records of the Three Kingdoms state only that he died young during Liu Bei’s campaign in Yi Province (c. 211–214). After Huang Zhong’s death in 220, Liu Bei granted Huang Zhong’s posthumous marquisate to another relative because Huang Xu had predeceased him without an heir.
