Ma Zhongchang (simplified: 马仲常, traditional: 馬仲常, pinyin: Mǎ Zhòngcháng) was the second of the “Five Ma brothers” (馬氏五常) from Yicheng, Xiangyang Commandery. The five brothers all had talent and reputation; their courtesy names contained the character “chang” (常). Few details of Ma Zhongchang’s life are recorded in the sources.
