Sima Wang (simplified: 司馬望, traditional: 司馬望, pinyin: Sīmǎ Wàng), courtesy name Zichu (子初), was Sima Fu’s son and Sima Yi’s nephew. He served Cao Wei and the Jin dynasty as a senior general. He was appointed General Who Conquers the West (征西將軍) and defended the western frontier against Jiang Wei’s Northern Expeditions. After the establishment of Jin, he was enfeoffed as Prince of Yiyang (義陽王). He died in 271. In some sources he is confused with one of Sima Yi’s sons; genealogically he was the son of Sima Fu and thus cousin to Sima Shi and Sima Zhao.
