Zhang Miao (simplified: 张邈, traditional: 張邈, pinyin: Zhāng Miǎo) was from Chenliu and served as Administrator of Chenliu (陳留); he was one of the officials appointed when Dong Zhuo controlled the court. He was at odds with Yuan Shao. When Cao Cao campaigned against Tao Qian in Xu Province, Chen Gong and Zhang Miao rebelled in Yan Province and welcomed Lü Bu. Cao Cao lost his base and fought a long campaign to recover Yan Province. Han Fu fled to Zhang Miao after yielding Ji Province to Yuan Shao. Zhang Miao was later killed by his own men. His brother Zhang Chao died at Yongqiu when Cao Cao besieged him; Zang Hong broke with Yuan Shao after Yuan refused to save Zhang Chao.
