Cao Chi (simplified: 曹熾, traditional: 曹熾, pinyin: Cáo Chì) was Cao Ren’s father. He served in the Eastern Han government. He died when his sons Cao Ren and Cao Chun were still young; the brothers later lived with another family until they came into their inheritance. When Cao Ren rose to prominence under Cao Cao, Cao Chi was posthumously honoured as Marquis Mu of Chen (陳穆侯).
