Location
Chengde (成德) was a county in Huainan, in Yang Province, in the Huai basin in what is now Anhui. Liu Ye was born there. He became a trusted strategist under Cao Cao and Cao Pi, advising on campaigns and on the establishment of the Wei dynasty.
