County in Danyang Commandery, Yang Province; home of Zhu Zhi and Zhu Ran.
Location
Guzhang (故鄣) was a county in Danyang Commandery, Yang Province, in what is now the Anji area of Zhejiang. Zhu Zhi and his nephew Zhu Ran were from Guzhang. Both served Sun Quan as senior generals; Zhu Ran’s defence of Jiangling after the Battle of Yiling became famous.
