Rencheng (任城) was a county and later a kingdom in eastern China, corresponding to the Jining area of Shandong. Cao Fang, the third emperor of Cao Wei, was probably the son of Cao Kai, Prince of Rencheng, tying his lineage to this region. Lu Qian is also recorded as coming from Rencheng. The area remained an important administrative centre through later dynasties.
