Wang Jun (simplified: 王濬, traditional: 王濬, pinyin: Wáng Jùn), courtesy name Shiqi (士治), was a Jin general. In the conquest of Wu (280), Sima Yan sent multiple armies south. Wang Jun commanded the main naval force, building and leading a large fleet down the Yangtze. He broke through Wu’s river defences, captured Jianye, and Sun Hao surrendered to him. Wang Jun’s descent of the Yangtze was decisive in ending Eastern Wu and reunifying China under Jin.
