Xiahou Ying (simplified: 夏侯嬰, traditional: 夏侯嬰, pinyin: Xiàhóu Yīng) was a general of the Western Han dynasty who was enfeoffed as Marquis of Ruyin (汝陰侯). He is recorded in the Sanguozhi as the ancestor of Xiahou Dun and Xiahou Yuan, whose lineage served Cao Cao during the late Eastern Han and Three Kingdoms period. Few details of his life are given in the Three Kingdoms sources.
