Lady Wu (simplified: 吳夫人, traditional: 吳夫人, pinyin: Wú Fūrén) was Sun Jian’s principal wife. She was from Wu County in Wu Commandery and was orphaned young; she lived with her younger brother Wu Jing (吳景) in Qiantang. Her relatives initially opposed her marriage to Sun Jian, considering him unreliable and of low standing, but she persuaded them to consent to avoid discord. She bore Sun Ce, Sun Quan, Sun Yi, Sun Kuang, and Lady Sun. She died around 202–207. When Sun Quan declared himself emperor in 229, he posthumously honoured her as Empress Wulie (武烈皇后).
